The RWSABC canoe section provides one of the best locations for canoeing in the the West of Scotland. The club organizes weekend trips to the beautiful west coast of scotland and the local Clyde estuary. The club provides coaching on monday and tuesday evening during the season starting at 6.30pm. The coaching is from BCU level 3 sea and inland level 2. Assesment is carried out to Star test level 1 to 3 and 4 Star sea. In addition the club runs courses on HSE First Aid at Work standard and refresher and winter lectures on tides, navigation, safety and weather. The club has an extensive fleet of member sea kayaks and club canoes available to members.(See the list below.)
